6 days agoYou're not an over-thinker; you're an under-preparer. I used to be the same way. Now I think ahead and prepare ahead (when possible). Cooking ahead is one trick. For example, I'll bake a pound or two of chicken at the beginning of the week so I always have something to eat when I need it. I know people can't always plan their day but you might consider using Google Calendar to (roughly) plan your week and day. For example, I know I'm going to the gym today and a social bike ride tonight so those two things are priority one and I plan everything else around that. I hope you don't mind the unsolicited advice.
7 days agoI was gonna buy a cantaloupe to eat with my cottage cheese, then thought, it’s probably bad. Didn’t buy cantaloupe, container of possibly bad cottage cheese still in fridge…
7 days agoSpending the whole morning deciding how to start the day leaves nothing left for actually starting it. The routine becomes the work instead of the thing the routine was for.
