I met this beautiful soul just a few months ago onstage at the @naturalgrandprix. I later learned that she was battling cancer.

People may have their own opinions about bodybuilding, but for some of us, it’s so much more than a sport. It’s therapy. It’s purpose. It’s a source of strength that helps us keep fighting when life gets heavy. For both of us, bodybuilding has played a role in saving our lives in more ways than one.

Everyone has a story, but hers touched my heart in a way that only a few would understand. ❤️

This past weekend, through our Next Level Inc. Move for Cancer event, she was one of the beautiful souls we were honored to support. She had no idea she was a recipient, and no idea I was there to surprise her. 🫶🏽

@universal_fitstyle, your strength is truly admirable. Being able to show up for you reminded me what this is truly all about: the connections, the love, the community, and the choice to stand beside one another through every season.

Although you’re battling this illness, your strength, courage, and determination represent something we should all aspire to. Life is meant to be lived, embracing every moment, and showing the world that you are so much more than your diagnosis.
