With the infrared six coming soon I figured this is an appropriate post. Personally, I like both the 2010 and the 2014 retro. Here is the varsity red from 2010 along with the infrared from 2014. However, I think this release we’re going get will be the best version yet. If you look at the pictures of Mike wearing them, it looks a lot like the retro that we’re getting in a couple weeks. 99.9% of the time I'm a strictly OG kinda guy, but in this instance it's Varsity red all day, every day, and twice on a Sunday.

I still have the OG black/infrared VI deadstock and handled the OG white/infrared VI at various stores back in the spring/summer/fall of 1991 and @jumpman23 still hasn’t made a proper white/infrared VI retro yet. Those 1991 pics of MJ are deceiving because the actual infrared used in 1991 was more of a bright neon slight orange-red, not RED red and not pink…the cameras back then couldn’t pick up that shade from that distance properly. The 2026 is still an awesome VI retro but they’re just white/crimson, definitely not like the true OG infrared. Nike is just messing with us and milking our wallets right now so we’ll also buy the actual white/infrared VI retro in 5 years. I’m definitely buying the 2026 though, they’re great in their own way.

I Think 2026 Will Be Best INFRARED Drop Yet Besides OG. The 2014 Seems To Be Closest Color To OG, BUT, 2026 Seems Like They Got The Color Just Right! Not Too Pink, Not Too Red. Just Right!! Double Up For Me For Sure!!!!
