IF I HAD TO REPAIR MY CREDIT AND REACH 700+, THESE ARE THE 10 STEPS I’D TAKE! 💳🔥
STEP 1: Pull all 3 credit reports (Experian, Equifax & TransUnion) and flag everything dragging my score down.
STEP 2: Fix outdated addresses, wrong names, and any inaccurate personal info.
STEP 3: Locate collections, charge-offs, repos, and late payments. Dispute anything inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable.
STEP 4: Use consumer protection laws like the FCRA to challenge reporting errors.
STEP 5: If errors aren’t corrected, escalate the violations through CFPB.gov.
STEP 6: Check hard inquiries and dispute any I didn’t authorize.
STEP 7: Add positive accounts like Self, Credit Strong, Kikoff, or rent reporting to build payment history.
STEP 8: Drop card utilization below 10%, ideally into the low single digits.
STEP 9: Build a stronger history through responsible credit use and legitimate authorized-user accounts when it makes sense.
STEP 10: Join a credit education community, stay consistent, and learn how to keep a strong profile.
💡 REMEMBER: 700+ isn’t only about removing negative accounts. It’s about building a profile lenders actually want to approve!
