The Child of Eve is an atmospheric, cinematic-folk and art-rock project spearheaded by Chicago-based singer-songwriter Ben Groth. His songs have an eternal nature to them, driven by acoustic instrumentation and deeply contemplative lyrics that often blend religious and literary inspirations.

Before diving into his latest recording project, Ben spent months in creative solitude on Inis Mór, Ireland, and completed a 488-mile walking pilgrimage across France and Spain—experiences that heavily color the spiritual and cinematic nature of the music.

The upcoming full-length record Sozo features collborations with Northern Ireland Music Prize-winning engineer Caolán Austin and Grammy-winning engineer Ben Rawlins.
