Another story for the fans of the legendary @kevinlevrone …💪

After placing second to Dorian Yates at the 1992 Mr. Olympia, Kevin competed in two shows on the European Tour.

He placed second to Dorian at the British Grand Prix and WON the German Grand Prix.

I had the pleasure of doing a few guest appearances and seminars with Kevin, in Germany 🇩🇪, and ONE in particular I’ll never forget.

We were at Bernd Beiderbeck’s gym in Bielefeld, Germany, when someone in the audience asked Kevin:

“Is it true that you bench press FOUR PLATES (405 lbs) for 10 reps in training?”

Kevin laughed and casually replied:

“Yeah… I do that for a WARM-UP!”

Naturally, someone immediately asked:

“Can you SHOW US?”

Kevin said, “SURE!”

Now, being that we were in Germany, where weights are measured in kilograms, Kevin asked how much 405 lbs was in kilos.

Someone said, “180 kg.”

Kevin simply nodded and had them load the bar.

I can’t really remember whether he warmed up with two plates first, but I KNOW that 180 kg was either his SECOND SET…or possibly even his FIRST! No warmups 😬!

And then…

13 PERFECT REPS!!!

Not 10…THIRTEEN!

He added 3 extra just to make a point.

He made it look SO EASY that I genuinely believe he could have done 20!

I remember standing there in SHOCK and asking him:

“Man, aren’t you afraid of tearing your PEC? This is HEAVY! It’s November in Germany, it’s COLD…you should at least WARM UP properly!”

Kevin just laughed it off in his typical Kevin Levrone style and said:

“I CAN DO THAT IN MY SLEEP!”

Well…

Not long after that, Kevin actually TORE HIS PEC while bench pressing.

I have NEVER forgotten that day. (I just saw it in my album, with a note…)

Democrats now control both chambers of Congress, reopening the possibility that lawmakers could pursue a third impeachment of President Donald Trump. However, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith is warning Democrats that such a move could seriously damage their political future.

Smith went so far as to make a prediction about the 2028 presidential election. He said that if Democrats pursued impeachment, a Republican would win the White House.

“I’m going to make a prediction right here and now,” Smith said. “If the Democrats pursue impeachment against Trump, I’m guaranteeing that a Republican will win the presidency in 2028. You can book it.” Smith said Democrats should use their control of Congress to demonstrate that they are capable of governing effectively. “Don’t waste your time impeaching him. Govern the country. Show that you want to govern. Show that you’re thinking about the American people instead of yourself, your vitriol, and your own commitment to vengeance,” he said.
