Here’s what high-threat driving training drives home:

🔹 **Eyes up, eyes out.** The car goes where you look. Fixate on the threat and that’s where you’ll end up.

🔹 **Smooth is fast.** Jerky steering and slamming the brakes cost you control. Calm, deliberate inputs keep the car planted.

🔹 **Contact isn’t failure.** Sometimes going through a blocked road is safer than stopping. Done right, the car keeps working after impact.

🔹 **Commit.** Hesitation is the real danger. Make a decision and drive through it.

🔹 **Training beats instinct.** Under stress, you fall back on your training. Get reps in before you ever need them.

You don’t have to be in a hostile environment for this to matter. These same skills help you avoid a crash on your daily commute.
