An unexpected photo today. It had been raining all night, and when I stepped outside this morning(well it was still raining), I spotted this fallen fig tree leaf full of water. Thought it would make an interesting little setting, so I did what we all know who would do. Yep, I blame you for getting me out in the rain, @barrybouquet! 😂 Grabbed my camera and took a shot.

Featuring the Lepin Automatic, which has quickly become one of my favourite watches of the year. And knowing that @matthewlillard is also a fan of this one makes me like it even more! The Grade 5 titanium case and subtle ocean-blue dial are a fantastic combination. I especially like how the dial catches the light, while the small seconds display adds a nice touch to the overall design. Powering it all is the reliable Sellita SW261-1.

Paired here with an orange leather strap from @ritchiesbrand. I think the contrast works really well with the blue dial.

Salute to Thierry Henry for drawing attention to the racially motivated mass shooting in the Paris suburbs of Trappes and La Verrière.

Speaking on CBS Sports’ UCL Today show, the Frenchman paid tribute to the victims of the October 23 attack, while expressing his anger at the violence and the weight of constantly having to prove your Frenchness.

Pengo Bossio Wangi, a 26-year-old MMA fighter, was killed in the shootings, while seven others were wounded, including a 12-year-old girl. A 39-year-old man has since been charged and remanded in custody, with prosecutors saying he admitted deliberately targeting people he perceived as Muslim, African or North African.

“I’m Black. I’m French. I’m a dad. That could have been my brother. That could have been my daughter,” Henry said.

The Golazo show is known for its camaraderie and banter, but Henry showed there’s always room to use your platform for something bigger. Many of its viewers may never have heard of Trappes, but he took the time to name Pengo and call the attack for what it was: racism.

Henry has spent more than two decades speaking out against racism, but one of the most powerful moments came when he questioned why people like him still have to prove they belong.

“Do we have to always show that we are French?”

Pengo’s name deserves to travel far beyond the news cycle. Thanks to Thierry, it just did.

AD | Some things are simply too lovely to hide away. 🤎

I’ve always had a weakness for beautiful baskets. The sort that are as practical as they are lovely, that never go out of style and somehow make even a pile of logs look rather splendid.

These gorgeous baskets from @thebasketcompany have found their places around the Barn. Two for the logs, one for Elsie’s bed and, of course, another for her ever-expanding toy collection.

Because apparently even the dog requires beautifully coordinated storage. 🙄🤣

Beautifully made, wonderfully timeless and exactly the sort of pieces I know we’ll be using and loving for years to come.

Although Elsie is rather more interested in the contents than the craftsmanship. 🐾🤎

Some netizens are calling the star on Giselle’s wall a Zionist symbol.

aespa’s Giselle posted new photos to Instagram this week, and two of them show a pink six-pointed star hanging on her bedroom wall. Critics on X claim it resembles the Star of David, a Jewish symbol also featured on Israel’s flag, and have interpreted it as a political statement. Meanwhile, fans have pointed to her previously expressed interest in spirituality, suggesting the star may simply be decorative.

Some fans have referred to the symbol as a pentagram, which has five points, whereas a six-pointed star is known as a hexagram. The Star of David is an important symbol in Jewish tradition, while similar six-pointed designs also appear in other religious and spiritual contexts, including as the Seal of Solomon. The symbol alone does not establish a political affiliation or belief.

Neither Giselle nor SM Entertainment has publicly commented on the speculation. Claims circulating on social media remain unverified.
