The Aliver Foundation: Helping Hearts Since 2024

Words could never begin to accurately express the profound gratitude we have for our first responders- for their bravery, for their commitment, and for the sacrifices they make on a daily basis.

We show our appreciation every day, but since it’s #NationalFirstRespondersDay we wanted to formally recognize the heroic men and women who put others first and encourage you to do the same.

We are privileged to have many first responders involved with The Aliver Foundation- including those on our First Responder Committee. We are grateful for your service to your communities and commitment to changing the 8% survival rate of cardiac arrest.

If you're a first responder, visit: thealiverfoundation.org/911 to learn more about how to join our incredible committee.

This day can be credited to Andrew Collier, the brother of 26 year old police office Sean Collier who was murdered by the Boston Marathon Bombers. After Sean’s death in 2016, Andrew started advocating for a national day to honor all first responders. Though it originally passed in the Senate in 2017, it stalled in the House. In 2019, more than six years after Sean died, National First Responders Day became a reality.
