HONEST POST ALERT! 🚨

Plot twist… we’re not perfect! I know, I know… we’ve absolutely shattered the illusion!

In a world of picture-perfect feeds, flawless florals and Instagram-worthy everything, we’re over here being the swans of the flower world Looking all calm and pretty on the surface, whilst our legs are paddling like absolute lunatics underneath!

A little peek behind the petals at a typical day in our flower shop…

🌸 Arriving first thing to crates upon crates of flowers waiting to be conditioned.

🚚 Getting timed deliveries out the door.

💐 Making orders, one beautiful bouquet at a time.

📞 Answering ringing phones whilst taking new orders (sometimes all at once… obviously!).

💍 Wedding consultations and planning dreamy floral magic.

🤍 Funeral consultations and creating meaningful, bespoke tributes.

🎪 Heading off-site to set up events and transform spaces.

📝 Admin, admin and… oh look, more admin!

🌷 Pre-ordering future flowers for future orders because apparently flowers don't magically appear when we need them. Who knew?!

🛍️ Serving our lovely customers in the shop.

🧹 Constantly tidying, cleaning and putting things back where they belong, only to mess it all up again five minutes later!

☕ And somewhere in amongst all of that… trying to find 37 seconds to make a much-needed cuppa that we’ll probably forget to drink!

AND THEN…

We’re supposed to create a fabulous social media post every single day. It needs to be funny, engaging, beautiful, perfectly timed, algorithm-approved and ideally make the whole internet stop scrolling. No pressure, then!

So, if we go quiet some days, share a slightly less-than-glamorous photo, or post something that doesn’t exactly break the internet, please know this…

We’re here. We’re working hard. We’re covered in leaves. We probably have foliage in our hair. And we’re doing our very best!

Behind every pretty bouquet is a whole lot of hard work, a million little jobs, a dash of chaos and a team of real humans who genuinely love what they do.
