Did you know there isn’t actually coffee in coffee cake? It’s called that because it is often served with coffee. ☕️

One of my absolute favorite things is going out for brunch and having unlimited hot diner coffee. I love the experience not just the taste of the coffee. I love that relaxing and satisfying first sip in the morning. I love the smooth and almost nutty flavor coffee can bring. If I need a lot of creamer it’s no longer quality coffee to me. It’s a melted shake 🤣.

I am a bit of a coffee snob and enthusiast. That being said I was so thrilled when @rahmroast wanted to work with me. (Although it’s pumpkin season so I added a little anyway 😉)

Recipe:
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
▢ 1 cup vegetable oil
▢ 1¼ cups milk
▢ 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
▢ 3 cups all-purpose flour
▢ 1 cup granulated sugar
▢ 1 tablespoon baking powder
▢ ½ teaspoon salt
Mix! Then combine the rest in a separate bowl
▢ 1¼ cups packed light brown sugar
▢ 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
▢ ¼-⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
Layer like lasagna 😉
Bake at 350F for 50 mins
