This is my second setting / map on the AWE Track Edition. Burbles pretty much entirely off, with only a very faint residual at the low end on occasion.
This is the one I run most of the time, because it sits closest to the actual OEM sound from factory. People associate straight through setups with heavy rasp, and that hasn’t been my experience with this one. Even with the cats out, AWE has designed it well enough that what you get is a deep B58 note with turbo and induction noise from the bolt ons on top, rather than endless drone and rasp.
These are the settings that do it for me, which can be coded through MHD or integrated if your tuner tunes through MHD:
• Overrun BRAP: SHORT
• Exhaust burble: ON
• Duration (base): 0.0s
• Duration (sport): 0.0s
• Aggressiveness: OEM
• RPM window: 200–5,400
• Speed window: 0–250 km/h (0–155 mph)
Two interesting things I’ve noticed with this, is that despite it being zero, it will have the occasional burble on the low end that very closely mimics the stock car behaviour if the stock cats and exhaust system were present. In addition, turning the DSC fully off will make the idle notably louder.
