Unless you're tracking drums, that focusrite is massive overkill. The behringer umc204 is a great mid-tier. If you have the spare money I'd recommend a used Livetrak L6. Get any older PC or laptop(thinkpad if you can find one) and put Ubuntu studio on it. Buy a copy of Reaper for $60. Rather than monitor speakers that take up space and can annoy neighbors/roommates/partners I like using inexpensive in-ear monitors and inexpensive Lekato ms-02 wireless transceiver. Then again, I'm a hobbyist, so none of this is my job :shrug:

Because Max is blind, he has a forever home with us. Letting him roam free would be incredibly risky — Nairobi National Park is home to many wild black rhinos, who wouldn’t take kindly to a competitor lumbering into their territory. Instead, Max has his own spacious-and-secure grounds to lord over. Black rhinos are as solitary as they are territorial, so this arrangement suits him well. He enjoys his morning visitors, Keepers, and the wild warthogs who filter through, but is otherwise very content with his own company. Because young Tyran will eventually be rewilded, we wouldn’t want to encourage or facilitate an overfamiliar relationship between the pair, as that wouldn’t serve him in his wild life. But for now, these little tête-à-têtes do no harm. (Notty the zebra, meanwhile, is just along for the ride!) — At 20 years old, Maxwell is the oldest orphaned rhino in our care.
