Please join us in congratulating Fatuma Nalubega on her award to participate in the Doctoral Scholars in Cancer Research (DSCR) Program. This Program is part of the UNT Health Cancer Research Scholars Program, supported by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).
She will receive a stipend of $30,000 annually from October 1, 2026, through August 30, 2027. Renewal for the second year is contingent on satisfactory performance and participation in the program activities. An additional $4,000 annually will cover tuition during her participation in the program.
