I’m just curious what your thoughts are on this situation with a potential threat of blackouts due to outside interference. Do you think if there is a known, strong possibility of a cyber issue the government should hire back some people to prevent that instead of making further cuts to those positions and safeguards? What is your suggestion for folks who are barely scraping by on the verge of homelessness and are in need of a 90 day supply of extra food, water, life sustaining supplies? Food assistance has been cut down, food banks are running out of food and some have wait lists. Most apartments don’t have a place for people to store things like gas, propane tanks, camping gear, etc. What do you suggest they do? Genuinely asking

I wish both parties could come back closer to center. I understand, and agree, with making smart choices with our tax dollars however there are tremendous cuts being made to vital services and resources for some of the most vulnerable people in our population like seniors, veterans, children, and disabled people. There has to be balance.
