Waiting for Brenda

It’s officially hit the floor (or the ceiling) but as the lovely Stuart Coupe says “go there via all the usual places” and hopefully you’ll find and can listen in one go to all of the 11 tracks. Or you can come to Banshees Bar & Artspace on Sunday for our CD launch & hold it in your hands. Besides lil ol me @brendaleekellymusic writing & singing & playing these songs - there are band members I am very thankful to for bringing their creativity to the songs including Garry Gman Bain on one of his many electric guitars, John Harrison on dobro, lap steel & harmonica, Craig Tobin on drums, Peter Cheney on bass & Luke Mysliwy on fiddle (& guiro) plus guest Accordian player Lindsay Norm & guest backing vocals Didy Harrison. Big love & thanks to my partner in love & rhyme David Katic for recording at home 3 of the songs (Golden Guitar, Rode Road & Perfect Timing) & the other 8 songs at Incremental Records with fabulous Cameron Smith. Also big thanks to Darryl Finn who has now joined Waiting for Brenda as Luke has left to take on the role of new parent. Also to Martin Leonard who often fills in on bass for gigs when needed& @jazzywazzywoo for taking the pic at the big Golden Guitar in Tamworth.#newalbüm #altcountry #womenofamericana #albumlaunch #womenupfront
