Congratulations to four of our Level 3 @otagopolytechnichairdressing students who have been selected as finalists in this year’s @hairandbarbernz NZ Hair Awards! 💇
Rachel Hendry, Aroha Thomas, and Sumana Ghosh are all nominated in the Editorial Stylist - New Talent category. Meanwhile classmate Isabella Hendry is a finalist in the Professional Hairdresser – Next Generation category, through @dreamhairblondestudio - the Mosgiel salon where she works.
Hairdressing lecturer Krystle Anderson was also recognised, with two finalist nominations in the Patrick Cameron Bridal Challenge – Senior category, also through her salon Dream Hair.

UPDATE: Huge Congratulations to Rachel Hendry, who claimed the Editorial Stylist - New Talent category (sponsored by ghd). 🙌 ��The New Talent award is given to a stylist who has been in the profession for less than 12 months, and celebrates students by giving them a chance to showcase their creative talents. Ka pai! 💪
