I am Venezuelan; we are lovers of the most beautiful and honest sport on the planet: baseball. From childhood, we dream of reaching the Venezuelan professional league and, of course, making it to the best baseball in the world—Major League Baseball in the USA. All the sacrifices made by mothers, fathers, children, and young people find their zenith and their ultimate example in these Milwaukee Brewers players!! Baseball has truly won!! Every child, adult, and senior who loves baseball will remember this World Series for the rest of their lives. We Venezuelans will remember 2026 as a year when we became world champions, but also as a year marked by the tragedy of two earthquakes—events that turned more than a hundred young baseball players, all dreaming of the Major Leagues, into angels. Beyond that, we will carry in our hearts the heroic feat of the Brewers and the Venezuelans who were part of that glorious team! Milwaukee has gained a new fan in me and my children. Contreras may be the World Series MVP, but the fans—they are the true MVPs.

Going to miss hearing this for a few months as an intense William strolls to the plate.
