In 1976, this prototype would have represented the pinnacle of Swiss LCD technology. Several brands would go on to introduce their own interpretations of this development: Certina with the Chronolympic, Longines, Fortis and Rado with their respective versions. This particular piece was also discovered among the collection of prototypes belonging to André Beyner.
