A team established in 1969 won their first World Series title in franchise history last night. Why do I mention the year? A perfect 10-cup pot of coffee in my Moccamaster requires 69 grams of coffee beans. Nice!
Our friend Mark Patel from Luna Coffee Roasters roasted Brü Crü Rally Blend just before the start of the NLCS series. As you know, the Brewers swept the Dodgers in 4 games.
This Medium Roast (which is a blend of beans from Nicaragua, Brazil and Sumatra) then went on to defeat the Rays 4 games to 1 one in the World Series.
When a blend of coffee beans goes 8-1 and leads your team to its first World Series title...maybe it’s time to roast it again Mark? Maybe with some World Series Champs art?
Damn good team! Damn good coffee!
