Restoring a forest takes patience, intention, and people willing to show up.
Last week, Genpact Portugal did exactly that at Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, right by Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Side by side, our team cleared invasive species, prepared the soil, and planted native oaks, strawberry trees, and folhados.
Hundreds of trees in the ground. A landscape that will outlive all of us.
We talk a lot about building a better future. Days like this are what that actually looks like: people coming together with purpose, doing the unglamorous work, and leaving something behind that matters.
