Bourbon weather is officially here! 🥃🍂 Cool Kentucky afternoons, a good bourbon, and an outfit you love. Does it get any better? This is my favorite time of year to pull out the boots, layer up, and let a great jacket do the talking!

I am beyond blessed and SO excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Louisville to continue my academic and athletic career in cheerleading!! ❤️🖤 I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and I am so thankful for the way God has guided my steps, answered prayers, and placed the right people in my life throughout this journey. None of this would be possible without Him. To my parents and family, thank you for being my constant support system, for every sacrifice, every early morning, every long drive, and for never allowing me to stop chasing what I love. To my coaches, thank you for investing in me, challenging me, and helping shape me into the athlete I am today. To my teammates, thank you for making this journey so special and giving me friendships and memories I will carry with me forever. And to the University of Louisville coaching staff, I cannot thank you enough for this opportunity. From the moment I got to know you all, I knew this was somewhere I could grow, be challenged, and become part of something bigger than myself. I am so grateful for the belief you have in me and cannot wait to represent the Cardinal family! All glory to God for what He has done and what is still to come. ❤️🖤 GO CARDS!! #committed #godisgood #viral #explore #universityoflouisville

Sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful too🌆

This, and the internet was never invented.
📱
I’ve often wondered whether life before the internet was better. Simpler, certainly. There seemed to be less noise in our lives, fewer distractions, and perhaps a little more peace in our minds. We weren’t constantly bombarded with information and opinions, chasing cheap dopamine hits with mind numbing scrolling. We had more time to ourselves, more time for one another, and perhaps a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.
💻
The internet has undoubtedly given us extraordinary things, but I can’t help wondering what we’ve lost along the way. We spend so much of our lives staring at screens, often at the expense of the people around us. We have become hermits, preferring to binge on Netflix than to go out and laugh over a drink with friends and strangers. There’s irony in the fact that, in a world that’s never been more connected, we somehow seem to have become more disconnected from one another. Perhaps progress has given us a great deal, but sometimes I wonder whether a quieter, slower, more human way of living might have been worth holding on to.
What do you think?
