These amazing dogs all came from horrendous situations of neglect and are now receiving much needed care at our facility. As you can tell by the size of their smiles, being outside is their favourite part of the day!

I was texting volunteers so many months ago telling them this was a scam rescue because there’s no way they can pull that many dogs and never have an update. Or even brag about shipping them across the country as if that’s even remotely acceptable! It’s time for all of these mentally ill people posing as rescues to be stopped. Soulful, Del Mar, Wild Horizons, Caring Songs, Adoptable Jacks. And please, by all means, everyone add to this list because THIS STOPS NOW.

One thing to look for is whether the “rescue” is 501c3 or not. Most 501c3’s have properly maintained books (they have to for tax purposes). Dog brokers are generally for-profit -hence why they ditch the expensive dogs and pull in bulk…high turnover and no high vet fees.

Please share microchip numbers so everyone can see where these dogs are from. If they are from Los Angeles rescues they need to be held accountable. We cannot hide this insanity and lack of accountability anymore. Please share info. Thank you so much for rescuing them from rescues who sent them there😢❤️

Thank u so much for helping these pups . Rescues need to care about the outcomes of their dogs & not send them to “sanctuaries” or “so called” trainers where they can be abused & neglected & forgotten . Unfortunately too many big rescues in LA do this, many are those who pretend they are so legit & ethical & have tons of resources.

This is Soulful Dog Rescue in Los Angeles. They pull dogs and then send them anywhere to anyone without any accountability. They pulled a dog in Los Angeles that had cancer and they abandoned it at a vet office. Rescues had to come in and save the dog. They need to be shut down.

Thank you so much for getting them to safety. We have been so worried about some of these dogs, with careless volunteers funneling dogs to reckless rescues. @ the_soulful_dog_rescue @I__n_e_t_t_e THIS is why transparency and accountability and follow up on dogs BROKERED all over the place matters.
