THE SURVIVOR’S JOURNEY | EPISODE 4: MICHELLE’S STORY
After losing her business, her home, and the stability she once knew, Michelle found herself homeless with her young daughter, facing unimaginable challenges.
At one of her lowest moments, a kind stranger directed her to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, where she received shelter and an opportunity to acquire a skill to rebuild her life.
Today, Michelle reflects on her journey, the progress she and her daughter are making towards healing, and the little victories that now mean so much. Through it all, her daughter remains her greatest source of strength.
Her story reminds us that even in our darkest moments, a helping hand can make all the difference.
