**The first half marathon in my bloodline. And hopefully, the beginning of a legacy. 🏔️🏃♀️❤️**
My FIRST EVER HALF MARATHON.
21 KM at **11,500 ft elevation** at Adi Kailash Parikrama Run 2.0. 🏅
I don't know if my ancestors ever imagined this moment, but here I am, carrying their blood, standing in the mountains, doing something no one in my bloodline has ever done before.
I didn't just make history for myself. I created a new possibility for my bloodline. ❤️
One day, someone in my family will look at this picture and realise that they come from a woman who dared to do what had never been done before.
And that woman was ME. 🥹🏃♀️
To every woman who dreams of doing something extraordinary: one day, it could be your turn to say, "I'm the first in my bloodline."
Just a few months ago, I was a woman trying to figure out running. Today, I’ve completed a half marathon in the mountains, at an altitude that challenged me in ways I can’t fully explain.
I wish I could go back in time and tell the younger version of me that we would do something like this one day. 🥹❤️
Maybe no one in my family has done this before. Maybe I’m the first to dream this big, to push these limits, to discover what this body and mind are capable of.
I didn't just run 21 KM. I became proof that someone in our bloodline could.
For every woman who thinks she's starting too late, who's afraid she's not athletic enough, or who's wondering if she can do something extraordinary:
Start anyway. You never know which family history you'll be the first to rewrite.🧡
This medal is special, but the woman I became while earning it means even more.
First in my bloodline. Hopefully, not the last. 🏔️🔥
Here's to the dreams we chase, the limits we break, and the generations we inspire without even knowing it.
👇 Tell me: What would make you proud to be the FIRST in your family?
