¡Familia! We don't have to wait for a huge celebration to have lobster, but it was my son's birthday and I wanted to do something special for him. We didn't feel like going out, so @lobsterboysteam delivered a box straight to my house. And yes! The lobsters are still alive, still moving. They couldn't be fresher if you fished them out yourself!
I kept it simple: butterflied the tails and made a delicious Cajun butter to pour over them. (It's my page so I have to take the credit but my son actually made the cajun butter) And the claws? I froze those for another day!
With @lobsterboysteam, you don't need a restaurant or a huge celebration to have lobster. You can have lobster any day.

Happy 13th to your son, Marlin! 🦞 Thank you for bringing us to the celebration. A tip from a fourth-generation lobster family: keep live lobsters cold and damp in the fridge until the pot is ready, never in fresh water, and cook them the day they arrive.
