I took my best friend to one of my favourite self-care spots to experience her very FIRST lymphatic drainage massage. And honestly, there’s something so special about treating someone you love to a little time to slow down. 🥹 Between work, motherhood, family, and the never-ending to-do lists, we spend so much time taking care of everyone else that we forget we deserve that same care, too. From the gentle, rhythmic movements of a Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage to a relaxing red light therapy session, this was the ultimate little spa escape. And their NEW location makes the experience even better. ✨ If you’ve never tried a lymphatic drainage massage, here’s your sign to learn more about it! It’s a gentle massage technique designed to support the natural movement of lymphatic fluid, and the whole experience can be incredibly relaxing. A little reminder: 🤍 You don’t need a special occasion to book a spa day. 🤍 Self-care isn’t something you have to earn. 🤍 Sometimes the best gift is an hour where nobody needs anything from you. Send this to your bestie who’s overdue for a little pampering. Or better yet, book something together. 🫶 Have you ever tried a lymphatic drainage massage? I’m curious! 👇 I have a code for anyone who wants to try for savings. NIKKIHEAL10 #LymphaticDrainageMassage #SelfCareForMoms #SpaDay #MillennialWomen #WellnessRoutine

Sometimes, the most painful relationship isn't the one where someone leaves you. It's the one where they stay but slowly make you feel unwanted. 💔 One of the hardest truths about relationships is that someone's presence doesn't always mean they are emotionally present. They may sleep beside you, share a home with you, eat the food you prepare, and remain part of your everyday life. But emotionally, you may feel completely alone. You ask for attention, and they get irritated. You express your feelings, and they dismiss them. You cry, and they walk away instead of trying to understand your pain. And slowly, you start questioning yourself. You wonder whether you're asking for too much, whether you're too sensitive, or whether you need to change something about yourself. But here's something important to remember: You are not asking for too much when you ask for basic kindness, respect, and emotional connection. Sometimes, what makes a relationship difficult to leave is not the happiness you experience every day, but the occasional moments that remind you of how beautiful things used to be. A little affection, one peaceful conversation, or one good day can make you forget months of emotional distance. You keep waiting for the person you fell in love with, hoping that version of them will return and stay. But love should not feel like constantly waiting for someone to treat you well. Real love isn't about being perfect every day. It's about making an effort, communicating honestly, taking responsibility, and caring about how your actions affect the person beside you. Never measure a relationship only by how long someone stays. Pay attention to how they make you feel while they're there. And remember, choosing yourself doesn't mean you have stopped believing in love. It means you have stopped accepting the absence of it. You deserve a relationship where you don't have to beg for the warmth that should come naturally. ❤️ Have you ever stayed attached to someone's occasional kindness while silently hurting because of their everyday behaviour? #RelationshipLessons #EmotionalNeglect #SelfRespect #KnowYourWorth #HealthyRelationships
