Follow me to cut through the hype 💎 Comment “links” to get my picks! Same knot, same high vamp, same bitter brown, $955 apart. Given all the luxury extras that Bottega’s got, I was really disappointed to see that it doesn’t quite curve to the foot. That’s bananas at $1,150. I get that the suede’s shagginess is a design choice. But I expect luxury shoes to be shaped like luxury, not blobs. Luxury extras so you can easily spot them in the wild: 🧵 More stitches per inch means finer work. Bottega’s got 11 stitches per inch. The other loafer: 10. 🪢 Knot (or any trim): the ropes should run parallel all the way around ✂️ Strap edge: a finished lip, not a raw cut 🤎 Suede: a long, shaggy pile reads casual, a short, dense, fine pile reads polished Bottega wins on execution. The lookalike wins on fit, with a vamp that follows the foot and three widths. I’d recommend it even if the Bottega didn’t exist. Affordable luxury finds! 20 YEARS! • I bought this stupid car on November 3, 2006. I was 17 years old, and had no idea what I was doing. If I squinted, the E36 looked kinda like an R34, and that was enough for me. Here we are, 20 years later, entwined in a toxic relationship I can’t help but stay in. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been eager to make this post for ~3 years now. But I made it. It feels like an accomplishment. In a world where everyone gives up on their projects, or finishes them and then sell them off, let’s applaud them for being smarter than me, because now I’m trapped and *can’t* sell it, and I absolutely hate this car. But I kinda love it too. 🖤

And what a way to end the competition season! 🏆 The perfect finish to a year full of hard work, highs, lows and so many special memories. 🥹 A massive thank you to her coaches for always believing in her, pushing her and helping her become the gymnast she is today. We appreciate you 3 so much 🫶🏼♥️ @liverpooltumblers @tillycoaches
