The Euro-ADV rider says, “Man, my bike is incredible. I had a small drop earlier, and the computer automatically registered the lean-angle fault, adjusted my electronic semi-active damping, sent an emergency ping to my smartphone app, and recalibrated my cornering traction control. What did your T7 do when you dropped it?”
The T7 rider shrugs, cracks a beer, and says:
“Oh, my exhaust bracket bent into the swingarm, my high-beam housing started rattling like a tin can, and I had to smash my gear shifter back into place with a rock. Then I started it back up and rode another 500 miles. Yamaha kept it just shitty enough that a hammer is the only tool I’ll ever need.”
