🍓🥂 ZENYA – STRAWBERRY CHAMPAGNE 🎶

I first met Zenya around 2007, when I was 25 years old, after seeing her perform at Arizona's in Sydney.

I remember being immediately impressed by her incredible voice, stage presence and natural star quality. I could see something special in her and approached her about working together.

I remember having a conversation with Zenya about what she was looking for musically and the kind of song she wanted to create. From that conversation, I came up with the beat that would eventually become Strawberry Champagne.

It's always a wonderful experience when two creative minds come together and turn an idea into music.

Since those early days, Zenya has gone on to achieve some incredible things in her musical career, including touring internationally with Justin Timberlake on The 20/20 Experience World Tour and Legends of the Summer Tour.

Her impressive musical journey has also seen her share stages with artists including Jay-Z, Demi Lovato and Queen Latifah, as well as work with musicians associated with Boyz II Men, Shaggy and Talib Kweli.

Nearly two decades later, I still have enormous respect for her talent, dedication and everything she has accomplished.

As a fellow musician and producer, it's always inspiring to see talented artists pursue their dreams and take their creativity to an international audience.

I wanted to revisit this collaboration, share a little of its history and acknowledge an incredibly talented Australian artist whose musical journey I have had the pleasure of being a small part of.

Much love and respect to Zenya. Wishing her continued success, happiness and blessings on her musical journey. 🙏🏽❤️
