Older men, I genuinely don’t think your age is the problem… 👀
1. Stop trying to convince me you’re younger than you are.
I don’t need you dressing like you’re 25, knowing every bit of internet slang, or trying to keep up with me.
Give me a man who smells good, dresses well, has some old-school confidence and is completely comfortable with his age.
That’s far more attractive.
2. Don’t treat dating a younger woman like you won something.
I want you interested in me, not in the fact that you got a woman in her 30s.
Remember how I take my coffee. Notice when I’ve made an effort. Remember the ridiculous little story I told you three weeks ago.
That’s what tells a woman you actually see her ❤️
3. Use the experience you’ve got.
One of the attractive things about an older man should be that life feels calmer around him.
Make the reservation. Pick the place. If something goes sideways, don’t turn it into a drama.
I’m perfectly capable of handling myself, but there’s something genuinely lovely about a man who just says “I’ve got it.”
4. Stop thinking you have to impress me with money.
Nice restaurants and weekend trips are great.
But six months in?
Make me a coffee without being asked. Put your arm around me while we’re watching something. Bring home the chocolate you spotted because you knew I’d want it. Make me laugh when I’m in a bad mood.
That’s the stuff I actually remember.
5. And don’t assume every woman in her 30s wants someone younger.
Some of us genuinely like what comes with an older man maturity, confidence, real conversation, knowing what you want, no games.
So no, I don’t think the number on your birthday cake is what’s losing her.
Half the time it’s trying so hard to make up for it that you forget the things that made your age attractive in the first place.
Older men, I’m curious what do you think a man actually gets better at with age? 👀❤️
