SHREC partnered with BrighterMonday Kenya and AirFlo for an engaging mock interview session designed to equip students with practical skills and prepare them for the world of work.

Through two interview simulations, participants explored different recruitment formats and gained valuable insights into what employers look for in potential candidates.

💻 AirFlo | Virtual Interview — Network Designer
Participants experienced a virtual interview, learning about the importance of camera readiness, clear communication, a professional setup, and adapting to technology-assisted recruitment.

🤝 BrighterMonday Kenya | Physical Interview — Financial Analyst
The in-person simulation provided an opportunity to explore face-to-face interviews and understand how to present skills, experience, and professional potential effectively.

Beyond the simulations, participants gained insights into:
📌 Using the STAR method to structure interview answers.
📌 Researching companies and job descriptions before an interview.
📌 Using AI tools to practise interview questions and improve responses.
📌 Demonstrating communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability.
📌 Recognising job scams and navigating recruitment safely.
