I’m voting Nithya Raman for Mayor of Los Angeles because this election is about whose policies benefit THE PEOPLE OF LOS ANGELES.
WE WANT:
- Affordable rents and housing for all.
- Resources like youth programs, parks, drivable streets and streetlights that work.
- Police accountability.
- A mayor that listens to the people.
NOT
- An LAPD that’s bankrupting the city and killing Angelenos.
- A police chief who collaborates with ICE.
- Mass surveillance.
- Giveaways to corporations.
No matter who’s elected, we will have to organize and flex our people power.

I had such a great time at the Hisense mall activation, exploring their innovative products and learning more about the technology that makes everyday life a little easier! 🩵🦋

As Hisense celebrates 30 years in South Africa, it was exciting to discover the range of products they offer, from home appliances to entertainment technology, all designed to bring convenience, comfort and innovation into our homes.

As a homemaker and mom, I always appreciate discovering products that make everyday living more convenient and enjoyable. It was lovely getting hands-on with the products, learning about their features and seeing how technology continues to transform the way we live.

Here’s to 30 years of innovation, growth and making life better for South African households! 💃🏽💐

For nearly 20 years, California has drawn a line between subsidizing pay for people in front of the camera and the workforce behind it.

Its refusal to offset a production’s salary for, say, Tom Cruise, has made it an outlier among the 39 states that offer production incentives and is probably the biggest reason why it’s losing its grip as the filming capital of the world.

The idiosyncrasy to California’s film and TV tax credit program has been leveraged by competing states and foreign countries to coax productions into leaving. Now, Gov. Gavin Newsom is trying to fight back. On Monday, Newsom announced another major expansion to the program that, if passed, would increase the annual credit from $750 million to $1 billion and allow a portion of pay for actors, directors and producers to qualify, among other changes.

At the link in bio, THR's Winston Cho and Katie Kilkenny dive into whether including above-the-line costs in incentives for shows like HBO Max's 'The Pitt' could lure more productions back to Hollywood.

Not the result we wanted, but thank you for your backing in Istanbul, Reds 👏❤️
