Washingtonians will wait and see whether the harmful, anti-child initiative I-638 will become law. We’ll be watching the ballot returns closely over the next few days until every vote is counted. We’re hopeful that voters stood strong against the national MAGA campaign to scapegoat a handful of vulnerable trans children.

A huge thank you to the thousands of volunteers, donors, and orgs who stood up against the mega-millionaires and anti-LGBTQ+ forces trying to take over our state.

Regardless of the outcome, we will work to make sure Washington is a great place to live, work, and raise children of every color, religion, background, sexual orientation, ability, and gender.

Americans have delivered a crushing rebuke to Donald Trump, sweeping his Republican Party from power in Congress after an election dominated by anger over the economy and the spiralling cost of living. Here's what the winners had to say following their victories.
