Six weeks ago, I had another surgery following skin cancer and the reconstruction of my nose. Seeing these clips side by side reminds me that, even when the day-to-day changes feel tiny, Iām heading in the right direction.
I canāt do much with the wound yet, so for now itās mostly patienceā¦ which is unfortunately not available in a cream. š
I see my doctor next week, and Iām hoping heāll give me the go-ahead to start using some products on it. Iāve also still got two dissolvable stitches in my forehead that seem far too comfortable up there. Really hoping they get the hint and leave soon.
Still healing. Still adjusting. But definitely moving forward.

It is healing so well. I know what you are going through as I have had the cancer journey as well. We are brave warriers with incredible scars. The bodies healing is a wonder as are our surgeons who sort us out. A beautiful funny lady. I only recently found you page and you tell it how it is and make me laugh. With you all the way. Keep smiling xx

Hola Abby te sigo desde que vi que yo estoy pasando lo mismo que tu. He pasado por 5 cirugĆas, 1 flap con pelos, y ahora me encuentro con los estragos de 20 dias de radiaciĆ³n. Posiblemente en 5 meses despuĆ©s que cure el ingerto me hacen la reconstrucciĆ³n del puente de mi nariz, a diferencia del tuyo en ha sido en la punta. Llevo 9 meses en esto con buena actitud y mucho positivismo, la verdad que aveces se te doblan las rodillas y te ves y dices...como quedarĆ©? Pero te das cuenta que ya has ganado solo de saber que estamos cancer free. Te mando saludos.

Your healing looks amazing. Iām a little further on at 9 months, having had a large skin graft on one side of my nose to remove a melanoma. I certainly agree that taking pictures of your progress is a great way to boosts your confidence and see how well you are healing. Youāre looking great and healing well. I wish you well. X
