Gauahar Khan has extended her support to Mahhi Vij amid the ongoing drama inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. India’s air pollution crisis is worsening, with the country dominating the global list of the world’s most polluted cities. According to recent AQI rankings, 24 of the world’s 25 most polluted cities were in India, highlighting the alarming air quality situation across several regions. Delhi recorded an AQI of 488 on November 4, placing it in the severe category, while several other parts of North India also experienced hazardous pollution levels. The deteriorating air quality is being driven by a combination of stubble burning, vehicle emissions, industrial pollution, construction dust and unfavourable weather conditions that trap pollutants close to the ground. Prolonged exposure to fine particulate matter (PM2.5) can increase the risk of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, making this a serious public health concern.
