Two important events, one shared mission: improving the health and well-being of ALL children!

MAPS Executive Director Honey Rinicella and Director of Operations Kathy Morris attended a Washington, DC event featuring the U.S. Surgeon General, exploring concerns surrounding screen time and its impact on children's brain development, vision, and overall health.

Our MAPS message? Children with autism, ADHD, and developmental disabilities MUST be part of this conversation! We need solutions that protect their health while preserving technology essential to communication and independence, alongside opportunities for movement and brain-body development.

Honey then joined MAPS Director of Clinical Engagement & Outreach Carrie at the Maryland AAP event, focused on practical tools to improve children's health and well-being. Another valuable opportunity to bring MAPS' perspective on individualized medicine and the importance of looking beyond a diagnosis.

Because improving children's health means ensuring EVERY child is part of the conversation, especially those whose needs are too often overlooked.
