A very happy, chaotic, busy half term.

Full of daily princess dresses, picking up puppy poos, a front door with pumpkins & Christmas trees at the same time, park days, cooking scrumptious meals and oodles of snuggles with our pups.

In alabama??

Democrat Allison Montgomery made history on November 3, 2026, becoming the first openly transgender person elected to Alabama’s state legislature. She defeated Republican incumbent Phillip Rigsby in House District 25, receiving 53.2% of the vote compared to his 46.7%, flipping a seat that Republicans had won by 16 percentage points in 2022.

Montgomery, a 32-year-old software engineer from Huntsville, campaigned on affordability, public education, healthcare, and reducing corporate influence in politics. Despite facing criticism over her gender identity during the campaign, she emphasized that her victory demonstrated the potential of grassroots organizing in a traditionally Republican state.
