OG pump fakes, Thompson bites and bumps OG. OG being cheeky and goes for the and 1. Thompson being aware of the positioning hangs on the rim. Unfortunately Thompson set himself up to either get hurt on the fall or had to hang on the rim to prevent landing awkward. Ref just calling it how it is 🤷♂️

What's the confusion? A defender can't hang on the rim. He just so happened to also foul OG, and it was called as OG attempted the shot.

I feel as though if the coach lets up on him and allows him to think. He would eventually get it right. But he definitely became overstimulated

I’m rolling with JB on this one. It was layered and complicated real time. Taking a second to talk to partners could have helped. You don’t have continuous motion in a jump stop, he also never blocked the ball, it hit the bottom of the backboard supports. Would love a breakdown of what should have been called. I’m going with a common foul on the floor for landing on OGs back, giving understanding to why he grabbed the rim.
