On 4 November, I'll be at the @festivalofentrepreneurs Birmingham, joining the buy-side M&A discussion on the Funding & Finance Stage.

There's a full afternoon dedicated to buying, building and selling businesses, with four panels tackling some big questions:
- What are you really building?
- How do you build a business someone will want to buy?
- Can you acquire your way to faster growth?
- What really happens when you sell?
There should be plenty of practical experience in the room, different perspectives and, I suspect, a few disagreements too.
