Thenji Moyo is an award-winning employment law specialist whose career has established her as a respected voice in the UAE legal sector. She leads Gateley Middle East’s employment practice, advising multinational companies, regional businesses and private clients on UAE and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) employment law.

Recognised in Chambers and Partners, Thenji received the Employment Lawyer of the Year award at the inaugural GCC LexisNexis Women in Law Awards. Under her leadership, her firm also received recognition for its workplace equality initiatives at major regional legal awards in 2022.

Her influence extends beyond the courtroom and boardroom. A registered legal practitioner with the DIFC Courts and Legal Affairs Department, she also serves as an employee representative on the Supervisory Board of the DIFC Employee Workplace Savings Scheme.

Thenji is a published author and an adjunct lecturer on the LLM programme at Middlesex University Dubai. She has championed workplace dignity through education on preventing bullying and harassment, and was included in the 2024 Pan African Female Leaders in Energy Power List.
