Hello there! Announcing our next P&SO session, happening on November 13th.
*Before we continue, a quick note: this upcoming session will be the last for 2026. We’re taking December off for a winter break. We’ll miss getting to share the space with everyone and hearing everyone’s readings and the conversations, but we’re looking forward to getting ready for next year’s continuation of the series!*
Our feature for the last session of 2026 will be host of P&SO, Gregg Yupanki Bautista. As founder and host of the series, Gregg is immeasurably grateful for everyone who has come out to partake in this poetry community over the past two years, building it into the special experience it’s become. We’re also excited to announce a guest host for this session, our close friend in poetry and in life, Yetvart S. Majian! Please join us in welcoming him to the space in this collaborative capacity for the night. @emajian
A Q&A session will follow Gregg’s set.
P&SO welcomes everyone to bring their original poetry or prose, polished or in progress, to this wonderful space. P&SO is a space for writers performing or working out original pieces. The open mic signup list caps off at 12 readers and does fill up quickly, so be sure to arrive on time to secure a spot! Each performer will have up to 5 minutes to share their work. For those who would only like to watch the performances, you’re more than welcome to also join our audience. The event is free and open for all to enjoy, but we do welcome donations to help keep the event funded.

6:50 PM - doors/open mic signup begins*
7:15 - open mic
8:30 - featured performance

*Please be mindful that W&O closes at 6PM on Friday evenings, and we use the next 50 minutes to rearrange and set up the space before opening back up for the event.

It’s such an honor (and a bit intimidating!) to return to one of my absolute favorite poetry communities as a guest host in support of such a marvelous host. I look forward to helping hold space for a brilliant artist who holds so much space (and so lovingly) for us all! See you in Hopewell! 🫂🙏🏼
