It's another fantastic fall Finisher Friday! We have some electric finishes to celebrate this week.
Congrats to the contingent of runners who traveled to the Driftless Region for some sweet singletrack and punchy climbs at the #Hixon50. Years ago, Addy ran her first 10K at Hixon, jumped up to the 25k, and now has her first ultra finish in the 50K. That's such a huge accomplishment for a high school senior. Her dad, Paul, and friend Mike each added another 50K to their impressive list of finishes, as well. Ryan's finish extended his streak of Hixon performances. He is tied with just a handful of others who have run it every year. Erin makes this course a regular part of her race schedule, getting her 11th finish and another Master's win.
That same weekend, the next generation of runners qualified and raced at the Lutheran schools National XC Meet. Congrats to Teddy, Max, and Jack for impressive finishes among a field of 250 runners from all over the country.
Meanwhile Troy and friends got a head start on Halloween, finishing the #anokagrayghost5k in creative costumes.
