A small milestone at MPA 2026! 😄
Nothing too fancy, just a simple poster on food allergen sensitization patterns among Malaysian children in private paediatric practice.
After approaching 200 skin prick tests (SPTs) in my clinical practice, I'm finally starting to have some meaningful local data to look at!
Of course, this poster represents only part of the data collected so far, and sensitisation doesn't necessarily mean clinical allergy. But at least we're beginning to understand some of the patterns we see in everyday practice.
Baby steps! Hopefully, we can build on this and come back with something even better next year.
Glad to have collaborated with Dr Alvin Pung on this little project. Always nice to turn everyday clinical work into something we can learn from and share.
