Anthropic made Claude Design free. Then buried a deadline. ๐
Claude Design now lives inside Claude โ on every plan, even Free. But the old standalone site at claude.ai/design closes on December 14, 2026.
What doesn't come with you:
โ Your chats with Claude โ deleted some time after it closes
โ Comments on your projects โ same
โ Public links to your projects โ they stop working
Your projects and design systems can come with you โ but only if you move them.

The comments part is the one I would move first. I keep client work in Drive and Sheets, and the notes around a file have saved me more than once when the file itself looked fine. A design system that moves without its comments is a clean copy with the decisions stripped out. I would export the backup before touching the one-click move, because a move that fails halfway leaves you with neither version.
