26.2 miles. Countless emotions. Yesterday, I had the privilege of running the NYC Marathon with @fredsteammskcc , raising money for cancer research. But this race meant so much more than the miles. This year has been the hardest of my life. In June, I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer, a loss that has changed me forever. There are days when the weight of that loss feels impossible to put into words.Throughout all 26.2 miles, I carried her with me. Every step through the five boroughs was a reminder of her strength, her love, and the impact she continues to have on my life. What started as a personal challenge became something much bigger, a chance to honor her memory while supporting a cause that means so much to me.What helped carry me to the finish line was the incredible support around me. From my family and friends cheering me on, to the thousands of fans lining the streets of New York City, to the fellow runners who took a moment to encourage me and tell me that my mother would be proud, I felt surrounded by love every step of the way. Those moments meant more than I can ever express.Running alongside thousands of people while helping raise money to fund cancer research made every mile even more meaningful. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a cause that impacts so many families and to run for something greater than myself.Mom, this finish line was for you. Until we find a cure, I’ll keep running, keep remembering, and keep fighting in your honor. 💜💜💜💜 #nycmarathon #runner #fredsteammskcc #pancreaticcancerawareness #fuckcancer🎀
I’m Matis Mallie, the newest Gymshark Athlete🦈 Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. This all started as a dream, something that felt so far out of reach that I never thought I’d actually make it happen. But after years of training and creating content, here I am… a Gymshark Athlete 🥹 Not just a sponsored athlete, but a Gymshark Athlete. One of the highest honours within the brand. And I can finally say that I’m part of it wow. It’s crazy how fast everything can change. Just a year and a half ago, Gymshark reached out to sponsor me, and now, I’m officially becoming an Athlete. I want to thank every single one of you who’s been supporting me since day one. None of this would have been possible without you 🙏 Becoming a Gymshark Athlete isn’t the end goal of my journey in fitness and content creation. It’s just the beginning of a whole new chapter, a whole new adventure, and honestly, a whole new life. I’m incredibly proud to represent this brand, and I hope you guys enjoyed this short video. ❤️ MATIS10 on @Gymshark 🫶 #gymshark #gym #fitness #motivation #ad

Cardio versus weight training if you’re over 40 ‼️and your goal is to get Leaner and fitter - weightlifting needs to be the bulk for your training. I’m 43 and I get asked what my secret is all the time but no gatekeeping here. I just pick up heavy stuff. 👉🏻Do a resistance training session 2-4 times a week, doing a mixture of compound and isolated lifts ✨You don't need access to a fancy gym. I love the gym and gyms are great but if you don't have a gym membership you can also use adjustable dumbbells at home ✨ focus on increasing your activity through natural movement you enjoy and daily steps Lifting weights is magic for the soul 💃🏻 #liftingweights #strengthtrainingforwomen #gymvideo
