Nine people perished when a Learjet 60 crashed beside a busy road in Palm Beach County, Florida, on November 1. The private jet was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it plunged nose-first into the ground and erupted in flames. Dashcam footage captured the impact just feet from passing vehicles, while officials reported no immediate injuries on the ground.

The close proximity to traffic made the crash especially shocking, with drivers narrowly escaping the impact. Investigators said the aircraft encountered turbulence and icing before going down, but the cause remains under investigation. The NTSB is examining the wreckage and the events leading up to the crash to determine what happened during the flight’s final moments.

@holausa ! I was so honored to receive the “Latino de Corazon”
Award at the fantastic Hola 100 Latin Powerhouse Awards last night at the Arsht Center @arshtcenter in Miami, Florida! This award is given to a non-Latin person in recognition for their dedication to the Latino community! The award was presented to me by the fabulous philanthropist Adrienne Arsht @adriennearsht who received the award last year. I cannot thank @holausa and @holacom enough for this wonderful Award! I thank @adriennearsht as well for her beautiful presentation! I love the Latino people and Latino communities and all the wonderful contributions they make to this world. It is my great honor and pleasure to serve on different charities boards that work specifically with Latino communities both in the United States and in other countries! To my fellow honorees, I congratulate all of you for your well deserved honors! Scroll through for my first photos. More to follow. An encounter between two worlds of craft. For the holiday season, LOEWE presents the Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas collection. An exploration of the stop-motion animation’s tactile spirit of making, which resonates closely with the House’s approach to the handmade.

A special collection with bags, accessories, ready-to-wear, scented candles, and leather goods, launching on 12 November.
