LAPD arrested Juan Jose Leonardo De Leon, an illegal alien from Guatemala convicted of drug sales and grand theft, in January.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin says Los Angeles sanctuary politicians refused ICE’s request to hold him. ICE finally arrested De Leon in Los Angeles on October 19.

There is nothing compassionate about sanctuary policy putting a convicted drug trafficker back on the streets from January to October.
