Turns out the problem wasn’t the dresses — it was the styling. 🤎

Comment DRESS for a 🔗!

What I learned as a petite:
• Higher waistlines make a huge difference
• Vertical seams/slits add length
• Emphasis on a higher waistline helps- tie for waist or a belt are fun additions that work in our favor!
• The right shoes change the whole silhouette

Petite girls don’t have to avoid long dresses — you just have to choose the right ones.

Day 2 of 5 unhinged things I do to run my home like a business. 😂📋

We hold weekly board meetings.

Because when you have eight people living under one roof, six kids, approximately 34 different schedules, and a household to manage, you can’t just hope everyone knows what’s going on.

We have individual employee meetings, executive leadership meeting with the President (my husband 😂), CEO meeting (just me and the attendance is always excellent), and all-staff meeting.

We review performance, discuss upcoming commitments, address concerns, set goals, and make sure everyone knows what’s expected of them.

Is it a little ridiculous? Absolutely.

Does it work? Also absolutely.

But here’s the thing: I don’t believe running an organized home means doing everything yourself. It means creating systems that allow everyone to contribute, communicate, and take ownership.

And that’s exactly what I’m trying to teach my kids.

Because ultimately, I’m not just raising children. I’m raising future adults who need to know how to manage their own lives.
