My 11th Best Coach Award. My 10th ring for bringing home the most wins and overalls . And through every season, one thing remains the same: ALL GLORY TO GOD. 🙏🏽
Before there was recognition, there was responsibility. Before there were trophies, there were people trusting me with their dreams. Before anyone saw the fruit, God saw the seed and the work it took to keep watering it.
This journey has taken years of showing up, learning hard lessons, making sacrifices, and staying faithful when the results weren’t there yet. I’ve prayed for guidance, worked through doubt, and learned that I still have to show up with discipline on the days motivation doesn’t come.
Coaching has taught me that leadership is a privilege. Someone is placing their confidence in you when they’re struggling to find confidence in themselves. You have to care enough to listen, be honest enough to challenge them, and stay committed when the journey gets difficult.
An award with my name on it carries the sacrifices of every athlete who helped earn it.
To my athletes: I see the early mornings, the exhaustion, the sacrifices, and the moments you choose to keep going. Thank you for trusting me, for being coachable, and for allowing me to be part of something that matters so much to you. I’m proud of these awards because I know the people and the work behind them.
And to anyone building something while wondering if their time will ever come: keep growing. Keep learning. Keep your faith rooted deeper than your need for recognition. There is value in the work long before anyone applauds it.
A special thank you to
@the_emo_bodybuilder and
@npc_musclebeachclassic @johnjsherman for this incredible award and for recognizing the hard work coaches put into this sport. It motivates us to keep raising the bar, bringing more competitors to the stage, and growing the sport together. 🏆
